Leadership Training

When you are at work, do you get frustrated because things don’t go according to you plans. You see people milling around but nothing gets accomplished. In the daily events, do you feel that your goals remain just that, goals. Then maybe it is time for you to stand up and do something about it.Many employees are content just to stand around listening for orders. It is unusual to adopt a follow-the-leader-mentality. But, maybe, somewhere inside of you, you feel the desire to make things happen; to be the head and not the tail. Maybe leadership suits fine.

Some people believe that great leaders are made, not born. Yes, it is true that some people are born to be natural leaders. However, without practice, without drive, without enthusiasm, and without experience, you will not be able to establish yourself as an leader.

You must also remember that good leaders are continually working and studying to improve their natural skills. Many establish their leadership skills through a leadership training of some sort. Learning about leadership requires commitment to constantly improve in whatever endeavor a person chooses.

First of all, let’s define leadership. To be a leader, one must be able to influence others to accomplish a goal, or an objective. He or she must contribute to the organization and cohesion of a group.

Contrary to what most people believe, having mlm leadership characteristics is not about power. It is not about harassing people or driving them using fear. It is about encouraging others towards the goal of the organization. It is putting everyone on the same page and helping them to see the big picture of the organization. You must be a leader, not a boss.

In other words, you must first get people to follow you. How is this accomplished?

People follow others when they see a clear sense of purpose. People will only follow you if they see that you know where you are going. Maybe you may have seen the bumper sticker that says, “Don’t follow Me, I’m Lost Too”? The same holds true for online leadership. If you do not know where you are headed, chances are people will not follow you.

You must know the vision you have set for yourself. Having a clear sense of hierarchy, knowing who the bosses are, who to talk to, your goals and objectives, and how it works is the only way to show others you know what you are doing.

Being a leader is not about what you make others do. it is about who you are, what you know, and what you do. You are a reflection of what you want you followers to become.

Studies have shown that one other basis of good leadership is the trust and confidence your followers have of you. If they trust you, they will go through hell and high water for you.

Trust and confidence is built on good relationships, trustworthiness, and high ethics.

The way you deal with your followers, and the relationships you build will lay the foundation for the strength of your group. The stronger the relationship, the stronger their trust and confidence is in your capabilities.

Once you have their trust and confidence, you may proceed to communicate the goals and objectives you wish to undertake.

Communication is a very important key to good leadership. Without this, you cannot be a good leader. The knowledge and technical expertise you have must be clearly imparted to other people.

Also, you cannot be a good leader unless you have good judgment. You must be able to assess situations, weight the pros and cons of any decision, and actively seek out a solution.

It is this judgment that your followers will come to rely upon. Therefore, good decision-making is vital to the success of your leadership.

Leaders are not do-it-all heroes. You should not claim to know everything, and you should not rely upon your skills alone.

You should recognize and take advantage of the skills and talents your followers have. Only when you come to this realization, will you be able to work as one cohesive unit.

Remember, being a leader takes a good deal of work and time. It is not learned overnight. Remember, also, that it is not about you. It is about you and the people around you.

So, do you have the drive and desire that is required of a leader? Do you have the desire to work with other people? Then start now. Take your stand and be a leader TODAY!

Learn Facebook Secrets To Success

Network marketing is booming on the internet, in part, due to the worldwide economic crisis. Many people are seeking alternative means of generating an income; one that will allow them to leave their jobs and have a better quality of life. But, the reality is that most people fail in network marketing. Often this is caused by unrealistic dreams; promises of freedom and wealth in a short amount of time. Other times, it is due to lack of an understanding in what it takes to build a successful business on the internet. The end result is people quit. No money, no success, people lose their enthusiasm and they’re gone.

If you want to have a successful business and you want to use the internet to help you create this success, there are a number of things that you must first understand and then do. Many people fail in network marketing because they do not know how to market. Marketing is a way in which we, as business owners, let others know that we have a product, service, or opportunity to share. But, it is the way we present our business that keeps the customers at bay. The truth of the matter is, no one cares about your products or your services, or your opportunity. People have been constantly bombarded by others, just like you, trying to get them to buy something or pay money to join some business. The outcome of such “in your face” marketing has lead many individuals to develop an emotional wall to those who are trying to sell them a product, service, or business opportunity. They see you coming and all they see is someone who is trying to get into their pocketbook or into their purse. Yet, these same individuals neglect to see this and continue their guerilla style of marketing which continues to generate little to no results.

Many more savvy network marketers have turned to social networking sites, like FaceBook, to wheel and deal their goods, but even in social networking sites like Facebook, they continue to encounter the same emotional wall. Some people just never learn. While it is true that FaceBook, Twitter, MySpace, or even LinkedIn, have become very powerful venues to building a successful business on the internet, there is the right way and then there is the wrong way to this. I am going to share with you, the Inner FaceBook secrets to success in network marketing. You see, there is a weapon that all of us possess but don’t know that we have. No one has taught us about this secret weapon but it is there every day. Do you want to know what this secret weapon is? This secret weapon is YOU! That’s right, it is YOU.

Why YOU? Well, we, as individuals we are unique in many ways. Our personalities, physical characteristics, behaviors, etc, are the one thing that sets us apart from anybody else. There is only one of you. So, if you want more customers and better results in your marketing, you have got to start marketing you. Stop wheeling and dealing your goods and start wheeling and dealing YOU. But, you say that you have nothing to offer. Maybe not now, but in time you will and the amount of time is going to be determined by how quickly you can get through the learning curve.

If you want to have success in your Facebook marketing, or any kind of marketing for that matter, you have got to spend some time learning marketing skills, then use these skills to market your business. When you start generating leads and income, then you know you are ready to share those skills with others, by helping other network marketers, just like you, to creating success in their business. You can apply your newly acquired marketing skills amongst the FaceBook members. Once you start generating results, others in FaceBook will notice. This is the Facebook secret to success. Just share what you know by helping others and you will see more customers seeking you out with credit cards in hand.

Below are 3 secret success principles to creating Facebook success or any business success. They are:

1. Generating Leads

2. Building relationships with those leads.

3. Marketing to those leads.

Sounds simple right. Well, no, it is not that simple, but once you learn how to successfully implement these 3 principles, in particular in Facebook, you will have no problem positioning yourself as a leader amongst many. Making money online doesn’t have to be hard, once you make the decision that building a business online is all about marketing YOU, and building “YOU Inc”.

Protecting Your Computer System

Posted on 25. May, 2010 by admin.

protecting your computerToday, more and more people are using their computers for everything from communication to online banking and investing to shopping.

As we do these things on a more regular basis, we open ourselves up to potential hackers, attackers and crackers; such as the recent ‘trash virus’ that attacked hundreds if not thousands of WordPress blogs. While some may be looking to phish your personal information and identity for resale, others simply just want to use your computer as a platform from which to attack other unknowing targets.

Below are a few easy, low cost steps you can take to make your computer more secure to begin with:

Always make backups of important information and store in a safe place separate from your computer.

Update and patch your operating system, web browser and software frequently. If you have a Windows operating system, start by going to www.windowsupdate.microsoft.com and running the update wizard. This program will help you find the latest patches for your Windows computer. Also go to www.officeupdate.microsoft.com and locate possible patches for your Office programs.

Install a firewall. Without a good firewall, viruses, worms, Trojans, malware and adware can all easily access your computer from the Internet. Consideration should be given to the benefits and differences between hardware and software based firewall programs.

Review your browser and email settings for optimum security. Why should you do this? Active-X and JavaScript are often used by hackers to plant malicious programs into your computers. While cookies are relatively harmless in terms of security concerns, they do still track your movements on the Internet to build a profile of you. At a minimum set your security setting for the “Internet zone” to High, and your “trusted sites zone” to Medium Low.

Install anti-virus software and set for automatic updates so that you receive the most current versions.

Do not open unknown email attachments. It is simply not enough that you may recognize the address from which it originates because many viruses can spread from a familiar address.

Do not run programs from unknown origins. Also, do not send these types of programs to friends and coworkers because they contain funny or amusing stories or jokes. They may contain a Trojans horse waiting to infect a computer.

Disable hidden filename extensions. By default, the Windows operating system is set to “hide file extensions for known file types”. Disable this option so that file extensions display in Windows. Some file extensions will, by default, continue to remain hidden, but you are more likely to see any unusual file extensions that do not belong.

Turn off your computer and disconnect from the network when not using the computer. A hacker cannot attack your computer when you are disconnected from the network or the computer is off.

Consider making a boot disk on a floppy disk in case your computer is damaged or compromised by a malicious program.  Obviously, you need to take this step before you experience a hostile breach of your system.

Facebook Marketing Tutorial

facebook marketing tutorialMost network marketers sell products in which they have no interest or desire. You must have a passion for what you are selling. If not, your customers will perceive this and not buy from you.

Many network marketers have not defined a marketing strategy. They don’t know to whom they are selling, what their prospects needs are and how to reach them.

The online marketer’s strategy consists of selling to everyone. They have no clear definition of “who their target market is.” Does this sound familiar? Many online entrepreneurs have made this unfortunate mistake, including myself. The find a product to sell, create a website, submit it to the search engines, and wait for the orders to come rolling in. However, in reality, how often is this successful? Practically never.

Network marketers spend countless hours and thousands of dollars on a product and website without answering the questions that were posed in the first paragraph.

Solutions To The Internet Marketer’s Mistakes:

Find an easy-to-target-niche market, one that is easy to identify. Also, it must be an industry that generates interest, desire and passion for you, because this is going to be your business, a part of your life. You will need to spend a great deal of time researching and developing it. Being associated with something of interest will greatly increase your odds of success. If you have a passion about a certain subject, customers will sense it and be more motivated to buy from you.

The easiest method of determining a new business is to brainstorm by asking yourself the following questions, which should elicit a series of hot and profitable business ventures.

  • What do you enjoy doing?
  • What is your current occupation?
  • Did you acquire specialized skills, knowledge and talents from your job?
  • What are your hobbies that you enjoy?
  • How do you spend your free time?
  • What did you enjoy doing as a child?
  • What were your favorite subjects in school?
  • What materials do you read on a regular basis?
  • If you had a choice of a career, what would it be?

The mlm pro network marketing secrets to generating a huge income online is to first identify your niche-market. Know who they are, their buying habits and what products most appeal to them. Do not try to reach everyone. Select a specific group of people who are ready, willing, and able buyers for your products and or service.

The best approach is to study newsgroups and message boards. By reading the posted messages, these forums can provide tons of information. This is also what is described as Preparing a Product Market Study. The steps mentioned in the Study can help you solve a number of the biggest mysteries regarding your niche-market. From your study, you will learn some valuable information; such as, needs, wants and problems of your market. What product or service to offer and how it would benefit the customer. Finally, it shows what sales strategies are the most effective.

If you’re prepared,  you’re able to feel confident.

Confidence doesn’t come out of nowhere.  It’s the result of constant work and dedication.

success is closerEvery situation, properly perceived, becomes an opportunity. But you have to act on them if you’re going to be successful.

Distant pastures always look greener than those close at hand, but real opportunities are right where you are.

You must simply take advantage of them when they appear. You can start where you are at any time.

Success is all around you. It’s not in your environment, it’s not in luck or chance, or in the help of others.

Success is in yourself alone.

You don’t need more strength or more ability or greater opportunity. What you need is to use what you have.

Learn to seize good fortune, for it is always around you.

You must go to success, it doesn’t come to you.

Open your own doors to opportunity.
