Nikken is a network marketing company that is focused on the health and wellness industry. Often, when the subject of the Nikken business opportunity comes of, someone will mention the 5 pillars of Health. What this is referring to are: Healthy Body, Mind, Family, Society, and Finances.
Isamu Masuda is the founder of Nikken. His vision started with helping people who suffered from sore feet, and the fatigue that extends to the entire body. After a series of events, evolved the first Nikken product called Magstep.
After Magsteps, which was created in 1975, other products followed in 1978 by KenkoCreator, and in 1979 by the original KenkoPad, which led to the introduction of Kenko Sleep technology.

There are 3 ways to become a participant of Nikken. You can become a customer, a member, or a independent nikken consultant.
Customer: place an order to purchase one of the Nikken products through an Independent Nikken consultant. Once you have a Nikken account, you can place an order by yourself any time or contact your consultant for assistance.
Member: As a member of Nikken, you receive discounts on all product orders. You als get access to a monthly newsletter and your own account on the member web site.
Independent Nikken Consultant: You must first signup through a Nikken consultant, then submit an online form. Once you are approved, your next step is to decide how you want to start your business. You have four options.
1. Consultant receives:
- 20% discount on product purchases.
- Ability to earn up to 25% retail profit
- Nikken business success kit. Cost $35.00
- Potential to earn rebates, bonuses, and overrides.
- Advantages of owning a business of your own
2. Consultant with Starter Pack: cost $512.00
- You receive all of above, plus additional products and tools to get you started with your Nikken business.
3. Consultant with Builder Pack: cost $1672.00
- All of what consultant benefits and everything in the Starter pack), plus more products and tools.
4. Consultant with Professional Pack: cost $2790.00

Basically, Nikken’s business philosophy is as follows. First you invest in your own business by using the Nikken products. See how they work; how they improve your health and your family’s health. Next you:
1 Share your product story with others.
2. If your prospects like what they hear, they get their own Nikken products through you.
3. Nikken distributes the products that are ordered to your new customer/consultant.
4. Nikken pays you according to the number of referrals you have made.
5. Then your new person duplicates you.

There are also products that include negative ion technologoy, kenko sleep technology, magnetic biaxial rotation, RAM technology, far-infrared technology, aire wellness technology, PiMag Water technology, CarioStrides technology, Kenzen wellness organic-based nutrition, and true elements swiss organic skin care.
Nikken Compensation Plan:
There are six ways to make money in Nikken.
1. Retail profits
2. Wholesale profits
3. Residual Income
4. Tax Deductions/Benefits
5. Performance & Leadership bonuses
6. Incentive Programs that pay your car and your home.
There are a number of levels in the Nikken home business. Starting from lowest to highest is direct, senior, executive, bronze, silver, gold, platinum, diamond, and royal diamond.
The Nikken compensation plan consists of a stairstep breakaway compensation plan, which can be very confusing to explain to a new distributor. One aspect of such a comp plan as this is that once a distributor achieves a certain level, they then breakaway from their personal sponsor. At this point, the sponsor will receive a small percentage of what the new distributor’s group is selling. What this means is that if you choose to become a Nikken independent consultant, it will be necessary to recruit on a continuous basis or face having your checks decrease each month.
Nikken Training:
Nikken does offer training to its consultants. There is available online training through their Nikken University. You will learn how to use various online tools; such as live web camera to host your own web meetings.
They also provide conference calls that will teach you how to recruit and retail .
They also have business trainings that can be downloaded onto your mp3 player as well as in pdf formats. Here you will learn how to approach new people, how to invite them to partner with you, and how to conduct effective one-on-one meetings, and much more.
They have training coaches and events that provide additional trainings for those who are interested.
Conclusion:
Overall, I think that Nikken business model is one that can generate a lucrative business to anyone who is seriously interested in building a successful business. It will take work, as any business does, but much of the marketing that is taught is primarily offline.
It is the Nikken training that I don’t agree with because, again, many people will not want to or acquire skills in offline marketing. Of those that do, many of them will not have the aptitude to learn the offline marketing. This is not to say they are stupid by no means. It is just that offline marketing is not for everyone. Why not give your members more choices as to how they want to do their marketing. There are many ways one can use the internet to market their Nikken business. Nikken does have online training, but unfortunately, they do not teach online marketing. Instead their online training teaches you how to use offline marketing and it teaches you how to connect with those using a tool to hold meetings with individuals you connected with using primarily offline marketing.
Why not use the online training to teach online marketing. Teach new Nikken consultants how to use press releases, articles, videos, social networking sites and more. These are effective marketing methods that can be used to market Nikken. For those interested, look for online marketing resources that will teach you skills in applying online marketing strategies. There are many to choose from. In addition, most of these online training resources utilize what is often referred to as a funded proposal system. A funded proposal system is a way that you get paid by the various affiliate programs provided, even if no one joins your opportunity, you still can make money. The truth is, 97% of the people you share your products and opportunity with will say no; no matter what kind of marketing you engage in; offline or online, so why not learn how to monetize those who say no to your opportunity. Overall, this will help you with your bottom line because if your business partners are making money and generating prospects to share their products and opportunity with, this means they are more likely to stay in business with you.

World Financial Group (WFG) is a financial services organization based in Duluth Georgia that markets investment, insurance, and mortgage products through a network of associates in the United States and Canada. WFG is a network marketing company that utilizes a system known also as multi-level marketing (MLM). WFG is a wholly owned subsidiary of Aegon.
Aegon is an international life insurance, pension and investment group. lt is based in The Hagu, The Netherlands, with businesses in more than 20 markets in the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
World Financial Group (WFG) Opportunity:
To become a World Financial Group associate, you must be recruited by another member of WFG. lt costs $100 to join as an WFG associate. lf you want to become to enroll in the Professional Development Center (PDC), it will cost an additional $199.00, but you can decline to do so.
The next step is to schedule for a for a Series 65 exam. The cost is $120.00. You have up to 120 days to take the exam. The next step is to sign-up for the Virtual Series 65 Study Course. This an online course and it will cost $79.00. There is a 20% discount code for WFG.
Once you pass the Series 65 exam, you then need to register for FINRA. To fill out the IAI (Investment Advisor Representative) application fee cost $45.00. Then you will need to get the registration kit. To get the IAI kit, there is a background check done. Once you are approved, you will be approved with IAI. At this point, you will not be able to conduct IAI business until you have been approved and your approval is sent either through email or letter.
All representatives who seek affiliation with IAI must apply for the state where you live and where the branch is located, that is if the branch is different from the state. Again there is a fee and the fees vary depending on your state. The fee can vary between $8.00-$235.00. The $235.00 is for Texas, not sure why.
Once you are approved in your state, you are eligible to conduct IAI (Investment Advisor Representative ) business in every state except DC, NC, NJ, and TX. As an IAI, you are federally registered, but there is a separate registration required for new branch offices. Fees vary again. WFG Convention of Champions: WFG’s biggest annual event. It last 4 days and includes training sessions and business building workshops, designed for both the associates and established financial services professional alike.
Conclusion:
Based on my initial vies of World Financial Group (WFG), I say it looks to be legitimate, but I will add that it is always important that you do your due diligence prior to joining any company. I did see some information regarding scams and suits against WFG. Often these kinds of issues stem from disgruntled former members, so don’t take to heart everything you see. First be sure the negative statements made against any company are true.
Next, although I do agree that WFG has a lot to offer, it will require payments of fees for registrations of various trainings and licenses. lf this is what you want, then it will be necessary that you attain the education and licenses so that your business is legitimate. lf you have any questions about the process of getting the education and licenses, call support or contact your Manager.
Lastly, the information I looked through did not mention how to go about finding customers for your WFG business. Based on how most MLM’s and network marketing, I assume that this is going to require you to know how to connect with people, family and friends, etc. lf you don’t have a problem with this, then by all means, use the tools and whatever trainings given by WFG, and get to work. But, if you want an alternative method and do mind using the internet to build your business, look for a online marketing or training system that offers the following:
- Training via webinars and videos.
- Includes a funded proposal system or a sales funnel so that you can earn an income while building your business.
- Teaches you how to grow you list of leads, build relationships with those leads, and market to those leads = Attraction Marketing principles
Even if you are good at making sales, since WFG is a MLM, this means your success is going to be mostly based on those who join you. lt would be to your advantage to provide some flexibility to how you go about marketing. Not everyone who joins you will want to do a lot of “belly-to-belly” type marketing. ln the end, having such a marketing system available will help you with your bottom line and thus, achieve the success you are looking for in your business.

Ignite does provide trainings, but much of the training is focused on using offline marketing; i.e. talking to friends and family, setting up meetings, etc. Much of the marketing remains your responsibility.
Conclusion:
Ignite appears to be a legitimate and good company. Just about all aspects of the lgnite business opportunity is there, but the one key piece that is necessary for ones success.
lf you are good at sales and talking to people and you don’t mind engaging in this style of marketing, you should do well. But, if this is not for you, you will struggle and even fail. lf you are truly interested in building a successful Ignite business, I suggest you take a look on how you can possibly use the internet to build your business. There are marketing systems that can train you on how to use the internet to build your business.
Marketing systems also provide a sales funnel which allows you to generate an income while you are building your business. This way, you don’t have to stay broke. Even if you are doing well with the using the offline marketing, keep in mind that your success is going to be based on the success of others in your organization. By providing more than one option to use for marketing, you are giving others the ability to select what they feel most comfortable with in building their business. No one should have to be forced to doing something they don’t like because more than likely, he or she will fail. By providing more options, you could in the long run, but helping your overall bottom line and this is essentially what having an ignite business is all about.

Conclusion:
Overall, the Waiora opportunity sounds like a good one. They seem to have everything in place to assist their distributors with their business. The business model is structured very well, from the products, compensation plan, and even trainings are provided.
One thing I will add is regarding the training. Most of the marketing trainings involve using offline methods. This means talking to as many people as possible. lf you are good at sales and/or have a very large list of people to talk to, you should do very well. The problem is, most people do not have either of these in place and thus, unless you are a quick learner or your are willing to learn sales skills, you are more than likely going to struggle.
Most people struggle in their business because many have never owned a business of their own before. lf you are ever going to succeed in any business, you must first make a commitment.
Jumping from one opportunity to another is only going to lead to more failure. Select an opportunity you think you will like, then the next thing to do is to focus on learning skills in marketing. You can use the Waiora trainings given or if talking to people is not you thing, you do have another option, which is to use the internet to build your business. There are marketing systems that will train you on how to use the internet to build your business. Most marketing systems also provide a sales funnel which will allow you to generate an income while you are going through your learning curve. You also have the option to do both online and offline marketing. But, whatever you do, stick to getting those marketing skills down.
Without marketing skills, you are guaranteed to fail. Skills in marketing are key to the success in business. Make a decision that you are going to learn these skills no matter what and in time, you will see better results in your business.

Partylite Products:
Partylite products are centered around the home and fragrances. Their main products are scented candles and they have a large variety of colors and shapes. The company also has products for special occasions; such as, weddings and holiday events.
Partylite Business Opportunity:
To start a business in Partylite requires you to first signup as a Partylite Consultant. You can signup with no upfront costs. The kits can be earned by selling $500 worth of candles during the Partylite training period. The company also offers what is known as the “Brite Start” program. This gives the consultants the opportunity to earn more business tools and products by meeting certain quotas during the first three months of business.
As a Partylite consultant, you have two options to market your products. You can sell them offline or online. Marketing the products offline requires talking to friends and family, setting up parties, or both. Either way, if your goal is to generate a fulltime income, this requires you to network with a large number of people.
The company encourages selling through parties only and it requires a minimum dollar amount for each order, thus individual sales won’t generate much results in your business. lf you are outgoing and enjoy host parties and networking with people, you should do very well with host parties.
lf you choose to host parties, you demonstrate the products to the attendees at the party. Each consultant does receive guidance from a personal sponsor as well as ongoing trainings, a local support team and the option to launch your won website.

To be honest, I was a member of the Global Domains business opportunity some years ago, but instead of sharing my views, I thought I would take an objective approach and share with you what I found based on research I conducted on the internet.
First, Global Domains international is a member of DSA and although it may seem like it, GDI is not an overnight success. It has been in business since 1982 and has been ranked 37th in Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest growing companies.
Michael Reed (CEO) and Alan Ezeir (President) are the two founders of Global Domains international.
Global Domains international Product:
The company promotes the “.WS” domain name extension globally. What is “.WS”? lt is a top level domain extension similar to “.COM”. When the internet was starting to develop, each country was assigned a domain name; such as, United States is “.US” and United Kingdom is “.UK”. The domain “.WS” is assigned to the Nation of Samoa. In fact, the Nation of Samoa receives a percentage of all the profits that GDI generates.
When Global Domains sells a domain name, it includes the web hosting URL forwarding, 10 email accounts, and a web site builder. Basically, one starts with a domain registration with a 7 day FREE trial. After this, you will be charged $10 per month.
Global Domains Income Opportunity:
You can earn from 5 levels and you can build as wide as you want. You are paid $’1.00 a month per person, which doesn’t sound like much at first. But say you signed up five people into your organization. That is $5.00 per month. lf each of them do the same, that is $25.00 per month, and if this continues through 5 levels, that is $3,125.00 a month.
Global Domains Bonuses:
They do offer a 7 day contest period whereby if you or someone else refers 5 paid affiliates, you get a bonus of $100.00. This is unlimited so you can get as many people as you want. The more you get, the more money you can make.
There is a Heavy Hitter Bonus that is paid out to any affiliate with 1000 or more members in any 4 week consecutive period. The bonus is $5,000.
GDI Training:
Based on what I have read, the marketing methods taught or that many use is chasing your family and friends and handing out DVD’s. This method, for most people simply does not work, lt also doesn’t do anything regarding addressing the high attrition rate. Most people new to a business opportunity cannot sell and without proper training, if you can’t sell, you are probably not going to make any money. To address this issue, one would need to seek other resources to get the
proper network marketing training
Conclusion:
It appears that GDI is a good company. I have heard that it is not easy to become a member of DSA. Is this a good opportunity to join? That depends on you. Most businesses require work and if you don’t mind working and learning new skills, which is a requirement of all entrepreneurs, then joining GDI might be fine. But, there is one missing element to this and it is the most important one, training.

TVI Express gives their members replicated websites, which have proven to not be very effective on the internet. If you are using the internet, or not, you must have something in place the markets YOU up front, not your business or your products and services. You want to have a business that separates you from everyone else and the only way this is going to be made possible is through marketing YOU because there is only one of you. Why not have a system in place where a member of TVI Express can easily generate a website that markets them; that has their pictures, their story, etc.
Conclusion:
I believe that what TVI Express has in place is a good opportunity. The one thing that does stand out is the compenstion plan. It looks as if you can generate an income very quickly, but the training is what is going to hurt them. Without skills in marketing, you will be hard pressed to successfully build a business in TVI Express.
