Agel MLM Opportunity Review

General Overview:
Agel Enterprises LLC is a nutritional supplement supplier and a multi-level marketing (MLM) company. lt started in March 2005 in Provo, Utah. Agel currently sells its products to 55 countries.
The product line includes nine different gelceuticals, which are the world’s first nutritional supplements that are suspended in gel. Agel also has the world’s first all gel care line with Ageless. The nine different products use proven ingredients to target specific specific maladies to do things; such as, reduce joint pain, promote heart health, increase energy, and reduce appetite. Some of the supplements are also notable in that they are both kosher and halal certified, making them acceptable to Jews and Muslims to ingest.
The company has become especially popular in lsrael and many Muslim countries, such as, Malaysia and Indonesia.
A Little History:
The founder of Agel is Glen Jensen. He previously worked in other MLM companies; such as, Nu Skin Enterprises and Neways. He recently joined the World Federation of Direct Selling Associations. ln September of 2008, the company moved its global headquarters from Provo, Utah to Lehi, Utah. The move was done to accommodate the rapid growth as well as to put it closer to Salt Lake City Airport.
Business Model:
To become an active Agel distributor, you must first order your Agel Roadmap. There are two choices, either the Executive Kit or the Personal Pack. You also have to setup your automatic monthly autoship.
Since Agel does follow the structure of a multi-level marketing business model, you more than likely will be instructed to make a list of 100 names, start a marketing campaign (with emphasis on recruiting people), and to commit to making at least two contacts per day.
Agel Training:
Monthly Product Webcasts conducted by Agel Corporate: This is every first Wednesday of each month where you get information on the various products from the experts.
Private Business Review (PBR) progam: Schedule a grand opening PBR in your home or somewhere else. The goal here is to build a team and do a weekly PBR.
Plug into Agel Business Brief (ABB) network: Participate in a local event or meeting. For those areas that do not have an available ABB, create one.
Participate in Weekly Leadership Calls: Be in contact with you local leaders regularly for updated information and motivation.
Book attendance at major Agel events: Agel World is held annually and regional Go Diamond Weekends are held periodically.
30 Minutes a day of personal development: To focus on your goals, review progress, and plan you day.
Agel Compensation Plan:
There are nine ways to make money in Agel. The Agel Comp Plan includes expense allowances, travel award funds, team volume commissions, matching bonuses, and luxury car fund.
To generate a commission, you must first be on autoship. lf you are on autoship, then you can earn an income through the following methods:
Retail sales: selling of the various products.
First order bonus: earn once you have recruited someone. If your new Agel distributor purchases the Executive Kit, you earn $200. If your new Agel distributor purchases the Personal Kit, you earn: $35.00
Each personal enrollment also counts towards your commission volume.
Executive Rank Qualifications: Each month 1% of Global CV is shared amongst team members.
To qualify for the bonus, team members must be either a Supervisor, Manager, or Senior Manager. An additional 0.5% of the CV is shared amongst those who qualify at Director or Regional Director.
Annual Leadership Retreat: Each year, usually the Diamond Director and above are invited to annual leadership retreats and other special events. Expenses are paid for and luxury accommodations are provided as you increase you level of success.
Expense Account: Another perk for those who are at the Senior Director level and above. This lump sum is paid monthly.
Senior Director: $500
Corporate Director: $1000
Diamond Director: $1500
Double Diamond Director: $2000
Triple Diamond Director: $2500
Quadruple Diamond Director $3000
The money is to help defray the costs of building your business.
Luxury Car Bonus: For those at Senior Director and above. This bonus is designed to pay for cars and related costs but you are not required to turn in any receipts and can use the bonus any way you want.
Senior Director: $500
Corporate Director: $1000
Diamond Director: $1500
Double Diamond Director: $2000
Triple Diamond Director: $2500
Quadruple Diamond Director: $3000
Team Volume Commissions: This is for residual income. Essentially, the compensation is a two-leg business structure. You earn 10% commission on your lesser leg, which means that for every unit of CV you accumulate in your lesser leg, you will receive ten cents back in Team Volume Commissions.
Leveraged Matching Bonus: You can earn up to 50% of the Team Volume Commissions being earned by any team members that you have personally sponsored, up to 7 levels down.
Conclusion:
Agel MLM Opportunity is an MLM company that seems to be a viable business for anyone interested, but it not one without is criticisms. Many of the complaints against Agel focus on excess predictions of sales volumes and resulting bonuses, high “buy-in” costs as well as the
complex compensation structure.
There have also been some complaints regarding the effectiveness of the Agel products.
Overall, many supporters and merchants who are involved in Agel say that it is a genuine, profitable multi-level marketing business opportunity. It has taken steps to address the complaints.
In essence, Agel offers a unique business opportunity for those interested. It is a viable opportunity and you can generate a lucrative income, but only through hard work and diligence.
I might add here that the trainings offered are not sufficient for many individuals who do decide to join. Most of the success generated will stem for using offline methods taught by Agel, which involves having a large list of family and friends and/or the ability to sell.
If none of these apply to you, you might want to consider using a marketing system that will train you on how to market your Agel business opportunity using primarily the internet. Most marketing systems also provide a sales funnel that allows its members to generate an income while growing their business. This will help offset any costs you encounter from your marketing, as well as you overall business.
If you use the offline or online marketing strategies to building your Agel business, you need to be open to learning new skills. This is the requirement of every entrepreneur.

Tupperware is the name of a home products line that includes preparation, storage, and serving products for the kitchen and home, which were first introduced in 1946.
Tupperware develops, manufactures, and internationally distributes its products by its parent company Tupperware Brands Corporation and it is marketed by means of direct sales through a sales force of approximately 1.9 million consultants.
Tupperware is sold in almost 100 countries. The top eleven consumers of Tupperware are:
Germany, USA, France, Mexico, Russia, Australia/New Zealand, Italy, Austria, South Africa, Japan, and India.
Business Model:
Tupperware is still sold mostly through parties, with rewards for hosts. A Tupperware party is run by a Tupperware consultant for a host who invites friends and neighbors into their homes to see the product line. The hosts not only qualifies for credit towards purchases, but are also rewarded with free products based on the level of sales made at their party.
To become a Tupperware Consultant, you must signup with another Tupperware Consultant. Then, you are given two choices on how you want to start your business. There is the option to purchase the Executive Business Kit for $119.99 or you can purchase the Business Kit for $79.99.
Tupperware Consultants are not encourage to keep inventory, but there is a push for consultants to participate in “sampling”. New Tupperware products are featured each season and consultants are offered the chance to purchase these items at 35% discount, which is then counted towards your personal sales.
Starting out, the money earned is mostly through the sale of Tupperware products. Overtime, after you have developed a team of Tupperware Consultants, you will earn much more, based on the performance of your downline. You also have the opportunity to win trips, diamonds, cars, and cash bonuses. As mentioned earlier, one of the additional rewards is a car. Tupperware has a program called, Dream Drivers Program, that offers to those who qualify, the use of a company car with no payments and no insurance premiums.
Tupperware Consultant Training:
There are training courses to attend regularly and part of your training will be to learn about the various new products and promotions that are coming out.
There are also training sessions via conference calls and weekly meetings, during which some selling ideas are presented. There is training offered online in the Tupperware sales support website, but this is up to the consultant to seek the online help.
Recruiting:
There is definitely a push for Tupperware recruiting. Tupperware constantly provides spotlight on its “Royalty” sales force members. Managers, DIQs, and Directors are referred to as “Royalty”. You do not earn commissions, you earn “royalties”. Tupperware has started recruiting the Hispanic population and has even added a whole “Hispanic Recruiting” section on its training site.
How Much Can A Tupperware Consultant Earn?
A party in the U.S. costs around $400.00. A Tupperware Consultant can earn $100-$150 for a party that lasts 90 minutes. If a consultant has a sales organization, he or she can earn $50,000-$70,000 a year, and some , who build their own sales organization, are making over $1 million.
Conclusion:
There are no requirements to becoming a Tupperware Consultant. You just need to believe in the products and sell them. You manage your own business and you can choose to work full-time or part-time.
Overall, the company seemingly is open for anyone to join. The success rate was not mentioned, but I assume that if you have a lot of close friends and family, know a lot of people, or are just good at sales, you can do well in this business.
For those who don’t have a large group of friends or family, and you are not good at sales, you have two choices. Either be willing to learn how to sale or find another opportunity. I don’t think the trainings are going to teach you how to approach people and make a sale. The training focuses primarily on learning about the products and how to host a party. There may be some other trainings offered, but I didn’t see anything else mentioned.
For those who don’t have the large group of friends or family and who don’t want to do any selling, there is another alternative; a marketing system. A marketing system offers trainings on using the internet to market your business. In addition, a marketing system provides a sales funnel that would allow a Tupperware Consultant to generate income while he or she is learning the various online marketing strategies. This means, no more staying broke while building a Tupperware home business. This would lessen the impact of having to pay the $400 for a party to market your Tupperware products. A marketing system can provide the income needed to not only support the online marketing, but it could help pay for other items necessary to building a Tupperware home business.

Success University Boot Camp Trainings Offered

Success University is a multi-level marketing program started by Matt Morris in January of 2005. It has also been identified as a pyramid scheme by newspapers. Success University does not employ any professors and does not have any premises; instead members are offered online courses on topics; such as, success in business or physical well being.
Members have to pay an introduction fee and are encouraged to invite other people to join in exchange for part of the benefits.
According to study by the Bank of Namibia, Success University presents the features of a pyramid scheme, and they have estimated that about 88% percent of the participants eventually fail, with only a minority at the top of the pyramid, making benefits. They declared Success University illegal in 2008. In 2009, Success University has been acquired by World Ventures, a similar multi-level marketing program based on selling holiday opportunities.
Success University Compensation Plan:
As a member of Success University, you are enrolled as a student. As you move through the course work and help others, you can earn an income.
Acting as an admissions councilor, you will share information and facilities personal development opportunities with the goal of enrolling students into Success University. The program is a binary payment structure that possess some basic requirements.
To start earning commission, you must first enroll 2 students and have them placed on each leg of the binary structure.
There is a monthly tuition fee required from each member in the amount of about $50.00.
Weekly Fast Start Bonuses:
For every premium student you enroll, you earn a weekly fast start bonus that ranges between $20-$40, depending on the level you are at. The higher the level, the more money you earn. You are paid the difference between you level and the next level below; meaning, the income you can generate from each leg is infinite.
Weekly Dual Team Infinity Bonuses:
Once you start enrolling, you are given access to a tracking center that keeps a close track on your sales within you organization. The tracking center has two teams, the left and the right team. As you generate a weekly income, you must enroll at least one student onto each team. You can earn a weekly commission of $40.00 if you enroll six premium student.
You can earn up to $10,000 per week with the weekly dual bonuses.
Monthly Dual Team Infinity Bonuses:
Being a qualified premium student in Success University will allow you to earn $40.00 for every monthly tuition paid throughout your organization each month.
You can earn $40,000 per month with the Dual Team Infinity Bonus.
Success University Trainings:
Success University provides education on topics of business, finance, personal empowerment, and personal development.
You have the capability to take a number of courses that are either achievement or elective courses. The achievement courses usually give you one lesson per day and up to about 20 lessons. Whereas, the elective courses are normally audio and/or video presentation that last about an hour. Each completed course will earn you credits. Half of the credits must come from the achievement courses. Once you have accumulated a specific number of courses, you advance to the next level. But, before advancing, you have to pass a test, usually in multiple choice format, and pass with a score of 80%. If you don’t pass, you must take the course again. Once a course is passed, you receive a certificate of achievement.
In Success University, you will learn personal and professional skills. Topics covered are business, sales, network marketing, and personal development. The goal of these courses is to help become successful in your personal and professional life.
Success University does offer free bonus packages that cover other topics; such as, CD’s with instructions on building a network marketing business and sells strategies. There are also motivational CD’s with instructions on building a network marketing business and sells strategies. There are also motivational CD’s that cover health and wealth subjects.
You receive training on building relationships with your prospects, and training on the compensation plan provided in Success University.
As a member, you have access to the back office that provides additional bonuses, resources, banners, ebooks, and more training that will help you with your Success University business. There are other trainings in your back office to help motivate you.
Also, provided in the back office is a document library that has all of the forms you need for your business, help desk, frequently asked questions, brochures, business cards, account management, lead manager, and boot camp training. There is also a Success University forum for support and first steps training to help you get started with your advertising.
Boot Camp Training:
When you join Success University, you will instantly have access to the Bootcamp trainings in your back office. The Boot camp trainings provide a step-by-step action plan to train you on building your Success University business.
Some of the contents of the Bootcamp action play covers various marketing strategies to help promote your Success University. It is essentially shows you how to use the internet to generate leads for your business.
Without the ability of having access to information on the exact kind of marketing strategies taught in Success University, I cannot validate the types of strategies, but I did see one article that stated that the type of marketing taught in the boot camp are typical of affiliate marketing. Those of you not familiar with affiliate marketing, the strategies used usually include blogging, pay-per-click, article submissions, video marketing, and more. This same article also stated that offline marketing methods are taught.
Conclusion:
Overall, it looks as if Success University has recovered from its “pyramid” scandal. Although the payment plan seems typical of most network marketing and mlm company, what is not typical are the trainings. Success University appears to provide good training for its members, which I believe is not only to essential to the members but also is essential to Success University. Also, it is not just any kind of training; it is training on personal development and on marketing online. These two trainings, once members put into use, will mean more success for the Success University student and which will inevitably help Success University’s bottom line.
In my view, the advantage a marketing system has over Success University is that not only does a marketing system train individuals on how to market their business using the internet, but it also provides a sales funnel that allows one to earn an income that can be used to pay for all of the marketing. In fact, once one learns how to generate a significant amount of leads per day, he or she could earn a full-time income in just 30-90 days. There is no waiting on building a down line. All of this is provided while you are building your down line in Success University. Once an individual goes full time working from home, the Success University student could be building their down line much more quickly because he or she has more time and more money in which to do so.

What Does YTB Travel Business Have To Offer?

Your Travel Biz or YTB was founded in 2001 by J. Lloyd “Coach” Tomer, Scott Tomer, and Kim Sorenson, all who came from marketing business in the financial services industry, has grown to become one fo the largest names in direct selling travel.
The company is a mult-level marketing opportunity under the holding company YourTravelBiz.com, Inc through owner-affiliate websites offering travel, excursions, and lodging.
YTB Travel Network, Inc. is based in Wood River, Illinois. There are international subsidiaries in the U.S., Puerto Rico, and the Bahamas, Bermuda, and Canada.
Business Model:
YTB offers a couple of ways for you to earn an income. One way as a Refer Travel Agent or RTA. The other way is as an Independent Marketing Representatives or REP. The Travel Agent opportunity has an initial fee of $500 and you are required to pay a monthly license fee of $50.00.
The YTB Independent Marketing Rep must sign an Independent Marketing Rep agreement with YTB. This allows you to sell online Travel Agencies; enroll RTA’s and sponsor other REPs. You earn commisson on your personal online Travel Agency sales. You cannot receive travel credentials and you cannot sell travel.
A Travel Network Referring Travel Agent or RTA is someone who purchased an online travel agency in an agreement with UTB Travel Network of Illinois. The setup fee is $450.00. You pay $49.95 monthly maintenance and license fee for your own “online travel agency” website, through which you collect commissions for recruiting new participants, utilize the website for their own travel purposes, as well as sell travel packages to others. However, most participants make the majority of their money by recruiting new agents rather than through travel sales of their own.
You are considered to have your first complete team when you personally sponsor 3 or more Reps and have 6 actie RTA’s enrolled that are paying their monthly fee of $49.95. Once the team is complete, you are then qualified to start your PowerTeam. You continue to build your team and earn your commissions.
YTB has stated that they are considering replacing their referring travel agent business model with one based around franchises. On October 18, 2008, they introduced a new tier of affiliates in an attempt to fit better into the travel industry, saying the new training program they will be introducing for those who remain as “referring travel agents” improves over the previous “one-day classroom event”.
Lawsuits:
Just a brief mention here so that you are aware. There was a lawsuit filed in August 2008, alleging it to be a pyramid scheme among other claims. Status of this situation is unknown at this time. I suggest you do your own research and determine your next move.
Conclusion:
Based on the company structure and business model, it appears to be a viable home business for anyone interested in the travel business. One thing I will note here is that anyone who is currently involved in this company or is considering joining, a marketing system would be most beneficial to help build your YTB Travel business.
Too often MLM’s and network marketing companies neglect to teach their members how to market their business. Instead they continue to tell them to go to friends and family. Most people will not build a successful business going to friends and family. At some point, you will need to look elsewhere for customers. Since YTB Reps are already using the internet to run their business, why not use the internet to market your YTB Travel business?
Marketing systems are tools that can be used by any home business owner to plug into and learn how to generate leads and customers. There is also a sales funnel provided that will allow an individual to earn an income that can pay for most or all of the marketing. If you get good and generating leads, you can even generate a very lucrative income.
Thus, if you are interested in truly building a very successful YTB Travel business, a marketing system is an avenue one can take to learn marketing skills. Otherwise, I suggest you be satisfied with the income you create by marketing to friends and family and enjoy the perks that come along with having a travel business.

Melaleuca is a MLM that targets the health and wellness industry. The company is an international manufacturer of unique health, home, and person care products. It was foundned in 1985 and the name was taken from Melaleuca Alternifolia which produces a naturally powerful essential oil. The oil is used in many of Melaleuca’s health care products.
Melaleuca MLM has business operations not only in the United States, but also in Canada, Japan, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, United Kingdom, Scotland, Ireland, Netherlands, Jamaica, Bahamas, Macao, Singapore, South Korea, as well as China.
Melaleuca Products:
The company offers a large variety of household goods and wellness products. The products are said to be free of any chemicals or potentially harmful additives. Many of the Melaleuca products are made from oils extracted from Melaleuca Alternifolia, which grows on shrubs and trees.
Melaleuca products include a large number of personal body care; such as, shower gels, shampoo, lotion, perfume, sun lotion, and shaving cream. They also carry Nicole Miller’s line of skin care and cosmetics.
Other products include housekeeping products. Essentially, the products sold are what most people currently use in their households. Melaleuca offers over 350 products. The price is a little bit more expensive than what you would normally purchase at a drugstore.
Melaleuca Business Opportunity & Melaleuca Compensation Plan:
As a member of Melaleuca, you are encouraged to engage in what is referred to as “old school” marketing strategies. Such marketing methods include handing out free samples, business cards, flyers, and brochures.
Melaleuca distributors earn their income from selling the products as well as sponsoring a new distributor. To become a member, you pay a fee of about $90.00, which does not include setup fees. To qualify for any payments, you have to earn 35 points per month. Each product has points-to-value and is calculated based on this value.
To earn 35 points, you have to purchase about $80.00 worth of products. You, as a member of Melaleuca, get a 30%-40% discount. You can offset this cost by recruiting someone; their points contribute towards your points.
To truly generate a lucrative income, you will need to recruit new distributors. It will take about 100 – 200 people to make approximately $1000.00, but this is only if they are doing what you are doing.
Conclusion:
To have success in Melaleuca is going to require you to have marketing skills in place. Trying to build a six-figure income from friends and family is a tall order to fill. In fact, I would go as far as to say, it is nearly impossible. But the fact that Melaleuca is in so many different countries does give you the capability to acquire a lucrative income, but how do you reach those folks in other countries is the question?
Considering the fact that the Melaleuca business marketing training is more geared towards old marketing strategies, it is going to be difficult to market to people outside the United States.
So, what are you left with? You can generate a lucrative income from Melaleuca, but only if you possess effective marketing skills, which most people don’t have starting out. But, if you want to join Melaleuca and you are willing to learn new skills, there are marketing systems that can give you the skills you need to create a very lucrative Melaleuca business. But, if learning new skills is not your thing, I suggest you be satisfied with the income you create by marketing to friends and family and enjoy the products.

Wealth Masters International is one of the few companies that offers their members training on how to use the internet to market their products. Essentially, B&F System, Inc has a number of high quality items offered at wholesale prices. The company has been around since 1950. This company is a wholesaler and drop ship supplier established in Dallas, Texas.
The way the company works is it sells only to independent business owners and business individuals who intend to resell the products or use the B&F Systems, Inc products for promotional purposes. The fact that there is a lack of a middleman allows the selection and service of dealers to maximize their profits and minimize the hassles.
